Hope for Kids
Summer is over but there’s still time for one more trip!
Grab your family and join Extra-Ordinary Birthdays on October 24 for an afternoon journey through the Hope for Kids Virtual World.
No need for compasses or maps for this trip — all you and your children will need is your phone or computer to join our expedition crew. Our Virtual World escapades include a dance party, a healthy snack making demonstration, and wild exploration tales with one of our favorite and famous friends, Moana!
There will be escape routes along the way, so travel along with us for part of or the entire trip. We will even provide all the “provisions” (sign up for this at registration) you will need to get you to the end of our voyage.
Click here to register to join us on a FREE virtual world adventure on October 24. We look forward to having you on our crew!
A replica to the smiles and joy Extra-Ordinary Birthdays brings to homeless children for their birthday, our Hope for Kids Fall Fundraiser event takes place the last Saturday in October.
Donning creative costumes, families and friends enjoy games, prizes, face painting, dancing, a candy tour and silent auction items. The crowd favorite is the costume parade contest which is a nod to dressing up the birthday kids at our EOB Celebrations.
Proceeds directly support EOB in providing homeless children with personalized birthday parties.
"Every aspect of our Hope for Kids event is designed to help families and the community that are not homeless experience what we do for homeless children and their families--giving them all the aspects of a birthday party that we know their parents want to give them but can’t. The need for normalcy in their lives, particularly on their born day is vital to their value and self-worth."
